The Martingale Baccarat System

The Martingale system in baccarat

Today, card gambling is popular again, and baccarat deserves a special mention. Many have created strategies and systems that are working, and today, Martingale is one of the most common. Martingale can also be used in roulette, but here we are talking about baccarat.

This system involves betting with a negative progression, that is, if a player doubles his bets after losing, and in case of winning the bet remains the same.

The system is applicable to real games with real currency. This is due to the fact that bets on the player and the dealer bring almost identical results. Of course, in the croupier situation, he gets his percentage.  And the Martingale system has already proven itself.

But it is worthwhile to understand all its peculiarities, so as to understand how to proceed.

How does it work?

Using this system certainly brings results; otherwise how else can one explain its popularity? Everything is quite simple; a player should double his bet amount on losing, and if he wins, he should leave everything as it is. I don’t think there can be any difficulties.

Of course, the player and the dealer are betting real money and paying 1k1. But the idea is that if you double the bet when you lose, in the end, if you win the player gets his money back. And plus the original bet is credited.  With an example, it’s worth breaking down how this would work.

The player bets £1 on the player and the bet does not play. The bet is then increased to £2 and the player loses again. Thus, there is now £4 at stake and the player’s luck smiles.  So the £4 winnings and another £4 bet are returned, i.e. the final figure is 8.

So the loss is only £1 on the first bet and £2 on the second bet, and that’s only £3. And the winnings are £5 minus the £4 bet and £1 net win.

This is how the system works, regardless of which game it is used in. But this method will be effective in equal money betting situations or bets that come close to those numbers.

How the Martingale system works in baccarat

Does the Martingale system help you win more often?

Of course, this method has been tested many times under different circumstances, and the advantage of modern gambling is that numerous gambling establishments allow you to bet on virtual currency in a test mode, so you can practice and understand what’s what.  But then again, practice says that there is a point, though not without its disadvantages. First of all, a player may face the table limit and the whole situation will simply get out of hand. But such an outcome is very rare.

Additional disadvantages include:

  1. Risks. If these are big bets, an impressive bankroll is required. It will not be without complications.
  2. Always consider the limit of the chosen table when using the strategy. Low limits are not the best solution, as they will quickly kill the strategy.
