blackjack rules

This game has lost none of its current appeal, and today attracts plenty of card gamers. The rules of Blackjack are very simple, increasing the chances of winning. The basis of the game lies in mathematical combinations and a certain amount of luck.

Overall, Blackjack is preferred by both intellectuals and card players, as well as the mathematicians, or those who just want to have a good time. Throughout its existence, the game has gone through different times, but it’s now in particular demand.

They started playing it in the middle of the 18th century, and like many gambling games, it appeared in France. Only after a while in America appeared slightly modified form, and that’s how now remains blackjack.

A bit of history

For around 200 years, this game has been the stock in the gambling industry. In the middle of the last century, craps was the most common game played in casinos, but it wasn’t long before the basic action was known.  And so many people realized that by counting cards and figuring out how many large cards were left, it was possible to increase the chances of winning big.

And, since then, gamblers with a mathematical sense of mind have become regulars in gaming establishments.  That’s how the game became popular and in demand.

In fact, the rules have not really changed since the 1960s, and gambling houses have not tried to popularize blackjack, but new strategies have been created and the game continues to grow.

And in the last 10 years the game has been rightfully considered the king of the gaming tables. The game is now actively competing with baccarat, as casino managers have begun to bend a few rules to make blackjack more lucrative for them.

The idea behind this game is to collect 21 points, or more than the dealer’s points. But it’s important that you hold no more than 21, otherwise you lose.

Cards and their meanings

The value of the cards does not change during the game. And you should be able to get a total of 21. Value and price:

  1. Cards with numbers. The value lies in the number itself.
  2. The cards are 10 points .
  3. The Ace is either 1 or 11, depending on the situation. Often it counts as exactly 11, but if the total on hand is more than 21, it counts as 1.

So the minimum number of cards is 2: either an Ace and a picture, or 10.

Blackjack rules

The rules may vary slightly from casino to casino. In most cases, the dealer stays at 17, or on soft terms, i.e. he has an ace and a six.  The player learns all the subtleties directly in the game. Insurance and splits vary, it all depends on the rules of the gambling establishment itself.

But it is before you start playing that you need to learn all the rules established by the casino.

Some players can calculate the cards, understanding the balance. If there are enough of them in the deck, you can raise the bet to increase the chances of winning.

The basic strategy of the game is always to stand on a hard 17 and on a soft 17 never say enough, it’s worth doubling your hand.
