The card game baccarat, what do I need to know about it?

Card games are actively developing today and there are plenty of offerings at numerous online casinos. But lately, baccarat has been catching the player’s attention. The game has some nuances and peculiarities and one should learn everything before starting.

The story goes that the game was invented by Felix Falgourès, and dates back to the 15th century. It found its popularity in France, and started a long way down the road.

Rules of the game

Previously, it was favoured by aristocrats, but even today the game is often played at high stakes.  The idea is that the player should be able to make a hand with several cards, so that their sum total is close to 9. And often during a game there’s a question of whether to draw an extra card, i.e. 3 cards, or whether it’s better to abstain.

Of course, each card has its own price:

1. An Ace is one point.
2. Cards from a deuce to a nine are valued like this.
3. 10 and pictures are not valued.

But when a player reaches the mark of 10 points or more, 10 is subtracted and the remainder is what the player has. 

What bets are available now:

1. On a player, punto, is calculated 1k1.
2. Dealer’s win, banco. Here the ratio is 1k1 but -5%, or 19k20.
3. Draw. Calculated on the fact that the dealer and the player will have the same number of points.

Before the deal, the player has to make a minimum and maximum bets, according to the table.  And then the dealer deals two cards each to the player and himself. If the player’s hand immediately forms a natural hand with 2 cards of the order of 8 or 9 points, it’s immediately compared to the dealer’s cards to see who wins. If the player has less than 6 points, he gets another card.

After that, the dealer will buy cards in accordance with the rules and it all depends on the player’s card:

1. If there was no need to buy a 3rd card, the dealer doesn’t get it either. But the exception is when each side has 6 points.
2. If the dealer has 2 or fewer points, the card is taken.
3. If the dealer has 3 points, the card is drawn unless the user himself has eight points.
4. If the dealer has collected 4 points, another card is drawn. But here you need not to have 1 point or 0,8,9.
5. If the dealer collects 5 points, then he takes a card if the player doesn’t have 4,5,6 or 7 points.
6. If the dealer has 6 points, he may take a card provided that the user has no card equal to 6 or 7.

The winner is the one who has more points, but if the same number of points, there will be a tie. Next, there is simply a payout and the cards are collected, and things move on.

Of course, at each time the player has tried to find a successful playing strategy for himself. But, for example, if compared to roulette, in baccarat there are not many bets, with numerous tricks being used to alter the betting figures.  Many gamblers use different strategies at the moment, and there are a lot of them, some of which have already proven themselves. But there is simply no 100% option, so you need to analyze everything and approach the gameplay competently.
